1. I recently stopped biting my nails. It's really odd because I've been trying to get rid of the habit for over 10 years, and I just suddenly stopped after a couple of weeks in college. Weird. I'm so not used to having long nails; I can't even type properly anymore.

2. Talking about nails/hands... I have man hands. Hahaha. I wish I had really elegant, feminine hands like my mom, and though my fingers are thin and somewhat long, they're not very pretty. My dad tries to make me feel better by saying that they look like they have strength -_-

3. I miss New York bagels so much. The bagels we have in the dining halls are store-bought, factory-made bagels that aren't very good. They bought us some bagels this morning, but they were cold and not as good as the ones in NY. My dad always buys bagels for us Sunday mornings on his way home from golf in the mornings. I miss it

4. I love writing letters. It's so much more personal than emails or IMs. I have a whole stack of snail mail to write and send out this week. I brought so much stationery with me to write to everyone...

5. I have a very strong fear of heights. When I was little, it was to the point that I was scared of going down the stairs and down slides. When I went to the Alps last year, I was hysterically crying and laughing at the same time because I was so frightened. The floor was basically rubber mesh, with half-dollar sized holes in it.. I was so terrified, and my dad kept pushing me to the edge to take pictures despite that. In the pictures I took there, a hat and scarf are hiding most of my face, and my eyes are swollen from crying. Needless to say, I'm not very fond of those pictures.

6. Speaking of fears... I have other, really odd fears. I was so scared of Edward Scissorhands as a child. I never finished the movie because he freaked me out so much. It's odd because horror movies never scare me, but a lonely orphan with social problems and scissors for hands does. My goal is to finish the whole movie some time during the next two years.

7. I can't eat sushi because I'm scared of dead fish. Ahahaha. My dad was making sushi once and he had cut off most of the meat off this considerably large fish. I went to the kitchen to wash my hands, and this fish, which was basically just the head and the skeleton with only a fourth of its meat on, started flopping around towards me. I ran out screaming and crying, and I can't go into the fish section of a supermarket without cringing anymore. I feel like all the dead fish are staring at me.

8. I sleep in fetal position; when I don't, I need to have my feet sticking out from under the blanket because I feel trapped in otherwise.

Anyway.. Those were eight very random facts. I'm pretty hungry, but we're going for Thai in the Ville in a couple of hours, so I'll wait.
